Bangers and Mash

I know the Asheville Brewers Alliance 2013 Hoppy Saison will be a difficult bird for many to find since only 999 bottles were produced. I happened upon a bottle of the elixir at Bruisin’ Ales during a recent Asheville excursion. It rings in at 7% ABV and I believe was about 15 beans per bottle. It was actually brewed at Green Man Brewery in Asheville and is quite a tasty morsel. The beer was nice and dry with a pleasant hop presence and an extremely enjoyable spice character. It really was well crafted and one you should try to find it you happen to be in Asheville. I suspect it may be available at some other local bottle shops and stores, but Bruisin’ had several left and with a $15 price point it may be available awhile longer.
