Brew: Belgian Session

Brewery: Boston Brewing Company

Style: Belgian session Pale Ale

ABV: 4.3%

Tasting Notes: This Beers pours a nice amber color with golden highlights. Two finger thick frothy white head tops this delicious looking brew quit nicely. The nose on this beer is like an aromatic bouquet of lemon zest and spicy yeast notes, not overpowering, more refreshing then anything.  The sip lives up to this brews name as far as being “session” styled. It starts out with the spicy yeast leading the way meeting up with some nice bright citrus notes coming off of the American Ahtanum hops. The malt bill for this brew has a subtle sweetness that provides an awesome base to blend and help showcase the delicate flavor profile of the yeast while allowing some of the floral notes of the Hallertau Mittelfrueh Noble hops to peak through in both the taste and nose. The finish of this brew is mostly a subdued version of the already established flavor profile that fades out very nicely making you wish for another sip to remind you just how good this beer is!
